Performing throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area, TakeFive! is an animating blend of musical instruments, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and french horn, specializing in creative musical "informances." Concerts are approximately fifty minutes long. We adapt our program for audiences of all ages and abilities to guarantee an exciting and enlightening concert experience. Audience members join us in singing, conducting, stomping, dancing, and much more!
We offer many musical experiences: traditional concerts, assembly programs, book readings accompanied by live music, arts and crafts concert projects, holiday concerts, instrument petting zoos and master classes. We can work with educators to create custom concerts based on curriculum or student needs. History, geography, science, literature; let us see where our musical journey takes us!
